Gouache Tondo

I finished this commissioned piece today after two REALLY long work sessions. It was a challenge to work with gouache on such a large (relatively large- 16" diameter) surface, but the entire process was enjoyable. I may have to scale up my work after this one...

This captures childhood in the simplest of terms-- children's hands playing with frogs and worms and making "jewelry" from clover. It could be 50 years from now, 100 years ago, or even 3,000. Eternal art.
